Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for orders placed on FoodZone (food & grocery delivery). By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1) Order Cancellation

  • Before acceptance/processing: You may be able to cancel an order if the vendor has not started processing it.
  • After acceptance/processing: Once the vendor has accepted or started preparing/packing, cancellation may not be possible.
  • Delivery in progress: Orders generally cannot be cancelled once a delivery partner has been assigned or the order is out for delivery.

2) Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following cases (as applicable):

  • Payment was successful but the order was not placed / not confirmed.
  • Order was cancelled by vendor due to unavailability or operational issues.
  • Wrong / missing items, or damaged items (supported by clear photo/video evidence within the reporting window).
  • Quality issues (supported by clear evidence within the reporting window).

3) Non-Refundable Cases

  • Change of mind after vendor has started processing/preparing.
  • Incorrect address/phone number provided by customer causing failed delivery.
  • Delayed delivery due to force majeure (traffic, weather, strikes, government restrictions).
  • Minor differences in taste/packaging that do not indicate a quality issue.

4) How to Request a Refund

Please report issues as soon as possible from the Help Center or Report an Issue page. Include your order details and any supporting photos/videos.

5) Refund Timeline

  • After approval, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days depending on your bank/payment method.
  • For UPI/wallets, it may be faster; for cards/netbanking, it may take longer.

6) Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may provide partial refunds (e.g., missing item refund) based on verification and vendor confirmation.
